How do I book a service through the app?
Open the GOFAR app, select your vehicle, then tap "Book a Service". Choose the service type, your preferred date and time, and confirm. You will receive a confirmation notification once the workshop accepts your booking.
How do I cancel or reschedule a booking?
Go to the "Bookings" tab in the app, find your upcoming booking, and tap "Cancel" or "Reschedule". Alternatively, call us directly on 0466 655 036 and we will update it for you.
Can I request a loan car or tow truck through the app?
Yes. When creating a booking, you can request a loan car at the same time. For tow truck requests, use the "Tow Request" option from the home screen. Our team will confirm availability and contact you.
How do I track the status of my vehicle while it is in the workshop?
Your booking card in the app will show a live status (e.g., Received, In Progress, Ready for Collection). You will also receive push notifications when the status changes.
What if I do not receive a booking confirmation?
Check that push notifications are enabled for GOFAR in your device settings. If the issue persists, contact us at sidhuautomotives@gmail.com with your name and preferred date so we can confirm your booking manually.
What is GOFAR Pro?
GOFAR Pro is the premium subscription tier that unlocks driving performance scoring, fuel-efficiency feedback, extended trip history, and priority support. It is available as a monthly or annual subscription through the App Store or Google Play.
How do I upgrade to GOFAR Pro?
Tap "GOFAR Pro" from the home screen or your profile, then choose a subscription plan. Payment is processed securely through your App Store or Google Play account.
How do I cancel my GOFAR Pro subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your Apple or Google account, not through the GOFAR app directly. On iPhone, go to Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions. On Android, open the Play Store > Account > Subscriptions. Select GOFAR and tap Cancel.
I was charged but the app still shows the free plan — what should I do?
First, try signing out of the app and signing back in to force a subscription refresh. If GOFAR Pro still does not activate, email us at sidhuautomotives@gmail.com with your App Store or Google Play receipt and we will resolve it promptly.
Can I get a refund for GOFAR Pro?
Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple or Google. On iPhone, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. On Android, contact Google Play support. We are unable to process refunds directly but will assist you with documentation if needed.
Why are speed camera alerts not showing up?
Speed camera alerts require location permission to be enabled. Go to your device settings, find GOFAR, and ensure Location is set to "While Using the App". Also check that you have an active internet connection.
How does the fuel price feature work?
GOFAR displays nearby fuel prices sourced from publicly available data. Prices update regularly but may not reflect real-time pump prices. Tap a station to see its address and current prices sorted by fuel type.
My parking location was not saved — what happened?
The Find My Car feature requires location permission. Ensure GOFAR has location access enabled in your device settings. Also confirm you tapped "Save Parking" before leaving your vehicle. If the issue repeats, please contact us.
How is my driving score calculated?
Your driving score (GOFAR Pro) is calculated from accelerometer and speed data collected while the app is open during a trip. Smooth acceleration, moderate braking, and steady speeds improve your score. The score is displayed at the end of each trip.
I forgot my password — how do I reset it?
At this time, password resets are handled manually. Please email sidhuautomotives@gmail.com from the address associated with your GOFAR account and we will reset it for you within one business day.
How do I update my vehicle details?
Open the app, go to "My Vehicles", select the vehicle you want to update, then tap the edit icon. You can update the make, model, year, registration, and odometer reading.
How do I delete my account?
To request account deletion, email sidhuautomotives@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Please include your registered name and email address. We will process the request and confirm once complete.
The app is crashing or not loading correctly — what should I do?
Try these steps in order: (1) Force-close and reopen the app. (2) Check for an app update in the App Store or Google Play. (3) Restart your device. (4) Uninstall and reinstall GOFAR. If none of these resolve the issue, email us at sidhuautomotives@gmail.com with your device model and OS version.
I am not receiving push notifications — how do I fix this?
Go to your device settings, find GOFAR, and ensure notifications are enabled. On iPhone, check that Do Not Disturb or Focus mode is not blocking them. If notifications are enabled but still not arriving, sign out and back in to refresh your device token.
